Elise Palumbo, LMSW
Elise works with individuals and couples navigating grief, loss, and life transitions. She’s drawn to therapy as a space for a kind of listening that goes beneath the surface, one that helps people understand themselves more deeply, and each other.
She works from a psychodynamic perspective, drawing on attachment theory and meaning-making with individual clients, and Emotionally Focused Therapy with couples. Her approach is creative and grounded in curiosity, play, warmth, and authentic connection, with an emphasis on drawing out strengths clients already have.
Elise’s work centers on exploring history, relationships, and patterns with care, building relationships that make room for growth and hold every part of a client’s identity, while pairing psychodynamic depth with practical feedback clients can use in everyday life.
